Four part model

The four part model of [[Nonviolent Communication]] involves an [[observation]], the [[feeling]] that is present in you, the [[need]] that has caused the feeling, and a clear [[request]].

In NVC [[expression]] all four parts are used. When verbalizing [[empathy]], only the first three or even just the feeling and need are spoken.

(this could obviously use a lot of expanding)

W elcome to NVC Wiki Day for December 27-28, 2005 to create content for this new NVC Wiki. Do you enjoy writing about [[Nonviolent Communication]]? Are you willing to engage in the wiki style of writing, in which people edit each other's words freely? Then join us!

If you would like to register your interest in advance, please add your name to [[NVC Wiki Day 2005 Participants]].

During the times listed below, at least one of us will be available "live" by various means (see below). Also of course we will be checking [[Special:Recentchanges]] here, and organizing whatever people are writing (see http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?RefactoringWikiPages).
